leovegas free spins opened wrong slot and support says bonus already used

Used some free spins that popped up in my account, but picked the wrong slot because I was in a rush. Was supposed to use them on another game where I actually know the bonus round and have a way better shot at a big hit. Customer support says since I opened a spin and used them, that's it, they're gone. Tried explaining I didn't even get to pick the right slot, just clicked and realized after, but no luck.

Never had this happen before since I usually double check the T&Cs, but this was super unclear. Anyone else run into this? Feels kind of rough for something that wasn't spelled out better, especially when a quick mistake means your shot at a bonus just disappears. Has support ever reversed this kind of thing for anyone if you can show you didn't use the spins for a real session? Not sure if I should just take the loss or push it further. Anyone ever get spins refunded in a situation like this?

I've always assumed free spins are tied to a specific game, so once the first spin is used there's usually no way to move them. Still, it'd be nice if there was a confirmation before they activated.

Maybe, but "in a rush" is the whole thing. Same leak gets me in poker too.

Yeah, rushing is often the real problem. That same leak can definitely carry over into poker too.

Nah, the part that pisses me off is online casinos acting like one tap on the wrong reels means the bonus is “used” forever lol. If the terms were that clear, support would just point to the line instead of doing clipboard crap. Did the spins auto-load into that slot, or did you have to hit a second confirm? That bit matters.

Yeah, that’s the kind of promo crap that annoys me. Once the reels load, support treats it as “used” even if you fat-fingered the wrong slot. I’ve had that on casino bonuses before, and crypto casinos are somehow even WORSE about it. Did the spins auto-open from the promo banner, or did you launch the game from the lobby first?

Sure, you clicked the wrong video slot, but this is exactly the tinpot online casino move that drives me nuts: one stray tap and support suddenly turns into a brick wall in a polo shirt. From what I’ve seen, once a spin fires they act like Moses carved it in stone.
